This course is designed for operatives who are required to install cable in open trenches or pre-laid ducting.

Who need to understand the safe installation techniques and correct handling techniques of different cables, so they understand the damage that can be caused by rough or poor handling during the installation process.

The candidates will also understand the need for good safe manual handling technique’s to avoid injury to themselves, their colleagues or members of the public.
