Introduction

Why take the C&G 2392-10 Inspection & Testing Course?

This practical & theory course is intended for inexperienced electricians and domestic installers. This can be a difficult subject and this electrical course seeks to demystify it and provide you with a certification in inspection & testing.

This ‘Initial’ inspection and testing 2392 course has been designed and developed by the electrical industry with City & Guilds. This particular course has been created specifically for Domestic Electrical Installers, existing contractors wishing to up skill and those unfamiliar to inspection and testing.

It’s a ‘must have’ if you intend to work on domestic installations which will need to be inspected, tested and certified in accordance with the latest Part P Building Regulations. Find out more below.

Who this course is for:

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However we must ensure that all our candidates have the potential and opportunity to successfully gain this qualification.

Candidates are expected to have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles and experience of electrical installation either within the electrical industry or allied trade.

This qualification is not approved for use by candidates under the age of 18. City and Guilds will not accept any registrations for candidates under this age.

  • Prospective fault current
  • Verification of volt drop
  • The above consist of both practical workshop and theoretical classroom electrical training.

Certification:

You will take an online multiple choice exam as well as a practical assessment on the last day of the course.
You will on success receive a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification (2392-10)

Please note that you must bring photographic ID such as a passport or driving license with you in order to sit the assessments on this course.
