Electrical Site Maintenance Training Course
Introduction
This course is aimed at individuals responsible for the maintenance of single phase installations in buildings and light commercial premises who need to understand electrical problems and rectify simple faults.
Please note all candidates must have attended a safe isolation course before attending this course.
Who this course is for:
Any person such as Employees, Managers and Auditors who wish to understand, gain awareness and knowledge in the safe working methods and practices used to be complaint and safe whilst working on minor maintenance reactive or  preventative activities.
Course aim:
To give an awareness of electrical safety processes and procedures for maintenance of electrical installations.

- Replacing like for like components (light fittings, sockets, switches etc)
- The Dangers of Electricity and Safe Working Practices

- Typical Electrical Faults and their rectification
- Understanding personal competence
- Awareness of Wiring Regulations and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
Certification:
Candidates who successfully complete the theoretical and practical competence assessments will receive a Competence Certificate.
